FWI implements GS1 standards

 

FWI is cooperating with GS1 and is the first AX partner in Austria to implement GS1 standards in Microsoft Dynamics AX. For customers, this will make both product and data exchanges easier, more efficient and more cost-effective. 

The GS1 system provides globally unique identifier codes in order to identify goods, services, assets and sites. These codes are based on barcode symbols so that they can be scanned electronically whenever business processes make this necessary.  

FWI ensures that the elements used in its ERP solutions are compatible with the GS1 standard and that the worldwide unique GS1 identification codes are used correctly and efficiently. This eliminates sources of error and makes key business processes simpler, faster and more efficient.
